From August 17, 2007 to September 2, 2007, in the Music and Audio Materials Reading Room (room 305) is open an exhibition “The Poet of Sounds” dedicated to the 145th anniversary of Claude Debussy, the French composer, pianist, conductor, and founder of music impressionism. The works by the composer are full of poetry, elegant and exquisite melody, harmony, and wonderful musical images.
