Today, you can remotely work with full-text, graphic and other information resources of the NLB using “Virtual Projects, Exhibitions and Collections” of the “Information Resources” section, web-site “Belarus in the information space”, as well as databases aggregated by the NLB.

The web browser “Belarus in the Information Space” in the “Resources of the National Library of Belarus” section contains over 40 links to electronic resources of its own generation.

These are full texts of the unique book monuments of Belarus presented in the project “Book of Belarus of the XIV-XVIII centuries”, virtual reconstruction of the book collection “Book Collection of the Sapieha Family”, “State Register of Book Artefacts of the Republic of Belarus”, etc.

All the issues of “Memorial Books ....” are presented here. The issues (mid-nineteenth - early twentieth century editions) are related to Belarusian territories and allow us to trace the dynamics of their socio-economic and cultural development:

In the electronic resource "Digital Kaleidoscope" you can get acquainted with unique species and thematic electronic collections:

“Belarusian Literary Heritage. Newspapers 1919-1939" – digital copies of Belarusian magazines published on the territory of the BSSR, Western Belorussian lands and beyond, which reflect the literary process of the 1920s and 1930s;

“Fashion and Time” – electronic copies of domestic and foreign books, magazines, publications, individual articles and illustrations, which show fashionable styles of women’s, men’s and children’s clothes from the 16th to the 20th centuries.

Military events of the country of different eras are reflected in virtual projects: “1812 in the history of Belarus”, “Belarus in the First World War”, “Memory of the Burning Years”, “100 days to the Great Victory”, etc.

The resource “Holy Land, Holy Land ... Belavezhskaya Puscha” is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The most important areas of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and UNESCO for over half a century have been reflected in the Belarus and “UNESCO: the Milestones of Cooperation” resource.

The biographies of the famous people of our country and the most important events of various spheres of its life are presented in the database “Belarus in Persons and Events”. Reference information about higher education institutions and scientists is in the resource “Scientists of Belarus”.

Adam Shanyavsky and the library fund of the Nesvizh county school (the last quarter of the XVIII century)

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
