The National Library of Belarus will shortly celebrate its centennial! Throughout 2022, there will be a variety of events commemorating the centennial jubilee. The most outstanding are the educational initiatives "Biblionight", "Diamonds of the Centuries: From the Library Collections", and "100 Rarities: From Historical Book Collections to Modern Art Books", a mobile photo exhibition "National Library of Belarus" and many other projects. The deputy general director of the library, Viktar Pshybytka, spoke to the ONT correspondent about elaborate plans for the anniversary date, special collections of the "treasury" of knowledge, and unusual services for the library.
The 9th International Congress, "Library is a Phenomenon of Culture," will be the closing event on September 15-16.
