On February 26, From Maladnyak to Maladosts lecture took place as part of the state project On the Wave of Time, Throughout the Life at the Faculty of Social and Cultural Communications of the Belarusian State University under the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation.
Ms Svetlana Votinova, Editor-in-Chief of the Maladosts journal and Ms Tatyana Lavrik, Chief Bibliographer of the Information and Analytic Activity Department of the National Library of Belarus, jointly prepared the lecture for the 3rd year students.
Ms Svetlana Votinova talked about the relationship between the Maladosts journal and Maladnyak, All-Belarusian Literary Association, the beginning of the joint project On the Wave of Time, Throughout the Life and the part the journal has played in it.
Ms Tatyana Lavrik presented a virtual project of the National Library of Belarus On the Wave of Time, Throughout the Life and its sections dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the poet Valery Moryakov (1909–1937), the 120th anniversary of the writer and critic Adam Babareko (1899–1938), and the 115th anniversary of the poet and translator Vladimir Khodyko (1905-1940). The lecturer focused on the joint activities of the partners and the accession of new participants to the state project, forms of its popularization, as well as the search for other ways to implement project activities. Target audience specifics set the direction of the presentation.
The National Library of Belarus has prepared the virtual project dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Maladnyak, All-Belarusian Literary Association of Poets and Writers (1933-1928) alongside with The State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature, the Belarusian State Archives-Museum of Literature and Art, and the Maladosts Journal.
