On January 26, students of the Minsk State College of crafts and design visited the thematic book exhibition "Holocaust: Without the Right to Oblivion", presented in the hall of documents of international organizations of the National Library of Belarus.

The students listened to a short story about the history of the Holocaust and its lessons.  They got acquainted with documentary and memoir publications telling about the Holocaust as one of the most terrible crimes of the Nazis.


The students also had training sessions on the information resources of the official documents service department, they got acquainted with the auxiliary fund of the documents of international organizations reading room, as well as with the resources of the Virtual Center for the Activities of International Organizations "Open Information".

The material was prepared by the service department with official documents.

A new project of the National Library of Belarus is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War – "Reading newspaper lines with your heart. On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders."
Every week from January to August 2024, the portal of the National Library publishes materials from newspapers of Soviet Belarus in 1944, reflecting the chronicle of news and events of that time.

From May 6 to July 5, the Reference and Information Service reading room (room 257) hosts the book exhibition "Belarus Unconquered", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
