The art project "Paris is ahead, Europe is outside the windows" is to be opened on January 26 in the Library.
The exposition is presented as a result of the First International plein air on wheels of the non-commercial conceptual gallery "Brama". The author of this idea is the art expert Larisa Finkelstein.
The experimental plein air took place in 2016 and became a real art-marathon for its participants – Belarusian artists, Chinese students of the Vitebsk State University n.a. P.M. Masherov, Turkmen students and teachers.
Six countries, seven cities – and all these during eight days! Lodz, Amsterdam, Brussels, Munich, Berlin, Prague and the wonderful Paris! Cultural capitals of the world became a source of new bright impressions for participants of the plain air. Immediate impressions from the views were reflected in etudes, sketches, made on the way. It looks like a black and white photo, exquisitely made by hand. These works became a part of the exposition, having reflected the moment of bygone emotions.
Manifold etudes were a basis of pictorial canvases, which were created in studios in the homeland. Artists successfully implemented their task – the moment stopped, and for the first time the freshest impressions are on paper! No topical, stylistic, conceptual and specific frames. Only freshness, spontaneity, and of course, its own art language and manner.
The event begins at 5 p.m. in the gallery "Rakurs" (2nd floor).
You can visit the exhibition and join the art-marathon till March 1, 2017.
