On September 15, 2009, an event dedicated to the Days of Libraries was held in the conference-hall of National Library of Belarus.
R. S. Motulsky, the Director of the Library, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor, winner of the honorary title “Minsk resident of the year” in the field of culture congratulated the Library workers of their professional holiday.
Handing of awards to winners of the professional contest among the Library workers and ceremony of initiation of young librarians took place during the event. Visitors enjoyed performances of Belarusian dance groups and creative workers of the Library.
