On November, 11th, at 4 p.m., a presentation of the book The Last Shelter of a Soldier published by the Publishing house ”Zvyazda” will be held at the gallery “Labyrinth” (3rd floor).
The edition includes generalized data on burial places of the First World War in the territory of Belarus.
The book The Last Shelter of a Soldier is published in Russian and German languages. The edition is based on the results of serious investigations which have been carried out by researchers in the territory of Belarus. They have studied in details each settlement where data about events of the First World War are kept, and military burial places of those times are located. Owing to experts’ efforts the forgotten places of our historical memory have revived from nonexistence. In the 100th anniversary from the beginning of the First World War the book calls for mutual understanding and reconciliation in the name of the future.
