On 15 October, at 3 p.m., a solemn opening of the exhibition “An Outlook on the World” is to be held at the gallery Panorama.


Representatives of the museum «The Castile Complex “Mir”» and Samsung Company in Belarus sincerely invite you to the exhibition opening day which will be held at the gallery Panorama of the National Library of Belarus. The best works of a photo plein-air “An Outlook on the World” will be on display.

“An Outlook on the World” is a unique project for travel photography lovers. A photographic travel was held at the Mir Castle and the outskirts in May and June 2013. Photosessions took place in the museum showrooms, in the castle and in the historical part of the town of Mir.

Both professionals and amateur photographers took part in the project to capture the beauty and harmony of the Mir Castile and its outskirts.

On May 5, the 205th anniversary of the birth of Stanislaw Moniuszko (1819–1872), the world-famous composer and conductor, our countryman, who made a significant contribution to the formation of Belarusian musical culture, is celebrated. By this date, the National Library of Belarus has updated the already existing virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region", created five years ago, and now replenished with new unique materials.
