From 5 March to 23 April, an exhibition “Great. Eminent. Wonderful...” timed to the International Women’s Day runs in the National Library of Belarus (2nd floor, circular hall).

Women can be characterized as unique, inexplicable, fascinating, and mysterious, and a number of these epithets are endless. Woman is the only one creation in the world that can be so different.

At all times women know how admire both by their beauty and their intelligence, courage and nobleness.

For ages, men were makers of history. However, there are women – warriors, politicians, scientists, artists and cultural workers – who went down in history along with representatives of the stronger sex.

The exhibition demonstrates more than 150 books dedicated to the outstanding women of different epochs.
