Book exhibition
From April 11, 2007, in official documents department (the second floor, room 207) is open a book exhibition "Book culture: experience of the past and issues of the present", dedicated to the World Book and Copyright Day.
The exhibition presents over 80 materials by the UNO, UNESCO, Council of Europe and European Union from the NLB's collections in Russian, English, French, and German: books, periodicals, brochures, booklets, mimeographed materials by the UNO and UNESCO.
By celebrating this Day throughout the world, UNESCO seeks to promote reading, publishing and the protection of intellectual property through copyright.
