A Ukrainian delegation visited the National Library on 6 October as part of the official visit to Belarus.
It included Mr Aleksandr Moroz, Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (1994–1998, 2006–2007), member of the Congress of Ukrainian Writers and author of 30 books; Mr Vasyl Tsushko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (2006–2007), Minister of Economy of Ukraine (2010) and Chairperson of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (2010–2014); and Mr Oleksiy Berezniy, Ukrainian politician and member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the second convocation (1994-1998).
The honoured guests enjoyed a guided tour of the National Library. They were introduced to the socio-cultural activities of the National Library of Belarus – organization and holding of events, presentations, guided tours, exhibition projects; they visited the President Centre's Round Hall and the Library's Observation Deck.
