On September 22, as part of the Days of Culture of the Rostov Region in the Republic of Belarus, a delegation headed by the First Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region Igor Guskov visited the National Library.

The honored guests were given a tour of the "diamond of knowledge", where they got acquainted with the rich history and cultural heritage of the institution. The delegation got acquainted with the book museum, where valuable and unique publications are stored.

To enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and admire Minsk from a bird's-eye view, the participants climbed to the observation deck of the library.

The members of the delegation expressed their admiration for the organization and scale of the library, and also noted its important role in preserving and popularizing the cultural heritage of Belarus.

During the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation and strengthening of cultural ties between the Republic of Belarus and the Rostov region of the Russian Federation were discussed.

From May 6 to July 5, the Reference and Information Service reading room (room 257) hosts the book exhibition "Belarus Unconquered", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
