The representatives of Saint-Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions visited the National Library on September 25.
The rector of the university, correspondent of Russian Academy of Science, academic of Russian Academy of Education, doctor of culturological science, professor, honored scientist Alexander Zapesockiy headed the delegation.
For the guests there was organized an excursion around the library, where they got acquainted with its history and resources, architectural peculiarities and decorations, opportunities as the information and socio-cultural centre of the country.
Alexander Zapesockiy presented to the National Library of Belarus three editions “Lectures and Reports of Members of Russian Academy of Science in StPHUTU”, published to the 20th anniversary of scientific and pedagogical cooperation of Russian Academy of Science and Saint-Petersburg Humanitarian University of Trade Unions.
