With the blessing of Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Pavel, the Patriarchal Exarch of all Belarus, the republican seminar “The local history of Orthodoxy: the experience and methods of study” will be held on 30 March.
The seminar, which is part of the celebrations of the Orthodox Book Day, is organized by the Synodal department of religious education and catechization of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, and the Republican Center for Ecology and Local History.
The seminar programme features the reports of historians, researchers, specialists and heads of libraries, as well as exchanging experience in the field of local studies.
The event starts at 10.00.
