On the first school day it's hard to sit at the desks. Pupils of the gymnasiums of the city of Minsk arrived on September 2 at the National Library to get an exciting and interesting beginning to their studies. Today they have actively got to know the library and book treasures with the aid of the quest.
The “Book Labyrinth” Quest is a creative game in the “labyrinth” of the library.
The creative tasks led the children to ancient manuscripts, a first “printer” of the 16th century, a tycoon’s printing works, the Francysk Skorina’s mantle, a book near the waterfall... In the Book Museum, children saw unique editions of Belarusian and foreign printers. The participants of the quest were very surprised by the novelty of modern printing, the facsimile edition of the Brest Bible.
