The educational excursion “Renowned persons of the Homeland” dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Maksim Bahdanovič, took place in the Library on May 27.
Pupils of Minsk school No. 19 got acquainted with architectural peculiarities of the building, informational resources of the Library, the system of order, delivery and giving of documents during the excursion.
The event was organized like a fascinating lesson with interactive elements. Participants deepened and solidified their knowledge about life and work of the poet, learned interesting facts of the Belarusian literature classicist’s biography.
Pupils were captivated by books, posters, postcards with the image of Maksim Bahdanovič from the funds of the National Library of Belarus, and were happy to do creative tasks.
Children visited the Belarusian literature reading room as well and got acquainted with the book exhibition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Belarusian linguist and teacher N.V. Ababurko “Gift of the gab”.
