On 31 May, the I Republican exhibition of students’ art “The facets of creativity” opens in the National Library.
The motto of the exposition is “Багдановіч. Маладыя жаданні. (Bahdanovič. The young desires). This year the exhibition is devoted to the 125th anniversary of the birth of the classic of Belarusian literature, one of creators of the modern Belarusian literary language Maksim Bahdanovič.
For the first time, his poetry will open with an unusual angle: the images created by the prominent poet will appear in a modern interpretation of students.
The creative exhibition is based on a thematic interactive exposition. The synthesis of literature, photography, painting and music will allow spectators to experience in a new way the creativity of Maksim Bahdanovič, to find harmony in the mood and desires of the young poet and the youth of today.
The works will be presented in the unusual nominations as follow:
- lettering Вянок вянкоў (The Wreath of Wreathes),
- photo-alternate Я хацеў бы спаткацца з вамі… (I’d Love to Meet You…),
- conceptual vusual set Спасціжэнне красы (The Comprehension of Beauty).
The exhibition is prepared by the Ministry of Education of Belarus, the National Library of Belarus, the National Center of Creative Art of Children and Young Adults.
The exhibition opens at 16.00 in the gallery “Rakurs” (on the 2nd floor).
