The National Library of Belarus, meeting users’ needs and preferences, acquires e-books from world-famous publishers.

Today, the library provides free access to EBSCO book collections. This is about 3,500 works of the world’s fiction and scientific literature, reference books and popular scientific publications. A collection of books on musicology deserves special attention.

More than 500 e-books on economics, computers, jurisprudence, mathematics, medicine and other fields of knowledge are presented in SpringerLink's database of the world's leading publisher Springer Nature.

In addition, access is provided to e-books of the publishing house John Wiley & Sons, which specializes in academic publications. This collection includes publications about the modern achievements in the field of information technology.

A new project of the National Library of Belarus is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War – "Reading newspaper lines with your heart. On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders."
Every week from January to July 2024, the portal of the National Library publishes materials from newspapers of Soviet Belarus in 1944, reflecting the chronicle of news and events of that time.
