On 5 July, a celebration timed to graduation of cadets and students of the Belarusian Emergency Ministry Command-Engineering Institute took place in the square at the National Library of Belarus.
Within the frameworks of the celebration, there was first graduation ceremony of graduates who will be employees at the Emergency Ministry of Azerbaijan. 279 graduates, including 39 cadets from the Republic of Azerbaijan took part in the event.
Board of the Belarusian Emergency Ministry, board of the Emergency Ministry of the Azerbaijan Republic, workers and veterans of emergency bodies and divisions and parents of graduates took part in the celebrations.
Within the frameworks of the event, Emergency Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Major-General of internal service Vladimir Vashchenko visited the National Library of Belarus.
Director of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky welcomed the minister. The guests made a panoramic excursion to the Library and familiarized themselves with its activities, architectural features, equipment, information resources and interior design. The excursion continued on the outdoor observation platform from where the gusts could admire the picturesque view of Minsk and the suburbs.
At the Book Museum the guests saw the collections of rare editions from the stocks of the National Library of Belarus.
