On 3 June, at 4 p.m., a grand opening of the exhibition consisting of diploma works of the Complex of Public Arts Schools named after T. Mayakovsky (Poland) and the Minsk State Art College named after A. Glebov (Belarus) will be held in the gallery "Panorama" (22th floor).


There will be shown more than 50 creative works of students and graduates of educational institutions in such kinds of visual arts as painting, design and sculpture.

The opening ceremony will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, the Embassy of Poland to the Republic of Belarus, public associations, teachers and students.

Since 4 June, entrance to the exhibition "Dialogues" is requiring payment, and the cost is equal to the visiting of the Library’s Observation Platform.

On May 5, the 205th anniversary of the birth of Stanislaw Moniuszko (1819–1872), the world-famous composer and conductor, our countryman, who made a significant contribution to the formation of Belarusian musical culture, is celebrated. By this date, the National Library of Belarus has updated the already existing virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region", created five years ago, and now replenished with new unique materials.

A new project of the National Library of Belarus is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War – "Reading newspaper lines with your heart. On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders."
Every week from January to August 2024, the portal of the National Library publishes materials from newspapers of Soviet Belarus in 1944, reflecting the chronicle of news and events of that time.
