Students of the Minsk Suvorov Military School, cadet schools, specialized high schools visited the National Library of Belarus and had an excursion in the framework of celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian police.
The future defenders of the Motherland got acquainted with the main attractions of the building, made a wish near the granite fountain, marched on the glass floor, learned about the unusual delivery system of literature in the Library.
In the Book museum, along with a guide young people remembered about another anniversary – the 500th anniversary of Belarusian book printing, saw authentic books of Francysk Skaryna and other rarities from the Library's collections. At the end of the excursion they admired the panorama of the evening city from a bird's flight.
And, of course, they took a picture inside of the largest diamond of our country – "the diamond of knowledge".
