An educational event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the bibliographic bulletin "New Books: Through the Pages of the Belarusian Press" will take place in the atrium (2nd floor) of the National Library of Belarus on December 23 at 16:00.

This is one of the oldest editions of the Library, which monthly introduces novelties of the national book publishing and events of historical and cultural life. Due to the universal content, the combination of bibliographic information with a variety of analytical materials, the publication is used by various categories of consumers, regardless of the level of information culture, age, and education, professional and personal interests. Prompt releases, availability of relevant and interesting Belarusian studies, materials give it the status of a valuable source of information.

The event will also include a presentation of a new printed popular science edition of the National Library of Belarus "Belarus Through the Eyes of a Bibliographer", prepared on the basis of the bulletin. The book contains information about the events of national history, ancient Belarusian families, cities, arts and crafts, folk holidays and rituals, etc.
