The National Library of Belarus and the partner organizations provide test access to the electronic library KnigaFund.


The database KnigaFund contains more than 44,000 electronic versions of student books on different disciplines: mathematics, informatics, physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, pedagogy, economy, political science, law, journalism, history, religion, philosophy, sociology, psychology, literature, linguistics, culture, art etc.

The electronic library comprises books by the major Russian publishers such as “Piter”, “Drofa”, “Nauka”, “Phoenix”, «”Omega-L», “АСТ”, “INFRA-М”, “Prospect”, “Examen”, “Yuniti-Dana”, “Economika”, “Nauka i Tehnika”, “Yurayt” and others.

The access is provided through the Virtual Reading Room of the National Library of Belarus for organizations that have confirmed their participation in testing of the resource.

Test access to the electronic library KnigaFund is provided up to November 24, 2010.

We present the updated virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region": on the 205th anniversary of the composer's birth

On May 5, the 205th anniversary of the birth of Stanislaw Moniuszko (1819–1872), the world-famous composer and conductor, our countryman, who made a significant contribution to the formation of Belarusian musical culture, is celebrated. By this date, the National Library of Belarus has updated the already existing virtual project "Stanislaw Moniuszko. Musical romantic from Minsk region", created five years ago, and now replenished with new unique materials.

On April 25, the National Library of Belarus hosted the opening of the exhibition "Dreams about Belarus", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders and the 85th anniversary of the birth of People's Artist of Belarus Vasily Sharangovich.

Art exhibitions
