On October 26, a delegation of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, led by the Deputy Minister of Justice of Azerbaijan, head of the Penitentiary Service and Major General of Justice, Jeyhun Akber ogli Gasanov, visited the library.
Roman Motulsky, the director of the National Library of Belarus, conducted a study tour, during which the honorary delegation became acquainted with the history of the ”Book Treasury”, the largest country’s information and socio-cultural center. Roman Motulsky spoke about the architectural features of the building and showed the possibilities of modern reading rooms. The guests also visited the gallery and exhibition complex, the Round Hall and the observation platform.
At the end of the meeting, Roman Motulsky presented to Jeyhun Gasanov a memorable gift, a facsimile reprint of the “Primer” 1618, which was released on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of its publication.
