The National Library of Belarus carries on the series of anniversary book exhibitions “The writers whose anniversaries are celebrated” dedicated to life and career of the outstanding masters of writing.
In the third quarter, we offer the expositions as follow:
- ”The reality of feelings”: the 140th birthday of French writer Маrcel Proust (1871–1922);
- ”The paladin of laughing”: the 155th birthday of English writer Bernard Shaw (1856–1950);
- ”History dressed in a novel”: the 240th birthday of English writer Walter Scott (1771–1832);
- ”The artist of social life”: the 140th birthday of American writer Тheodore Dreiser (1871–1945);
- ”The great stonemason”: the 155th birthday of Ukrainian writer Ivan Franko (1856–1916);
- ”The Gamer and Mystifier”: the 75th birthday of Russian writer Edvard Radzinsky (1936).
The exhibitions are located on the 3rd floor in the circular hall.
The expositions will be interesting to the wide audience, and first of all to admires of belles-letters.
