The study of history is a part of culture, without which we can not understand ourselves and answer the fundamental question - who we are. The Belarusian symbols, heraldry and genealogy are of great interest nowadays. On the one hand, the history of the country and of the people on the whole attracts, on the other hand – the fate of one’s family. It shows a significant increase in demand for historical and heraldic-genealogical books in the library.

The book exhibition presents works of famous Belarusian researchers A. Narbut, A. Statkevič-Čebahanaǔ, A. Śalanda, S. Rybčonak, A. Zalivaka and others who study genealogical noble classes of the country.
