From February 9, 2009, to March 5, 2009, in the Official Documents Reading Room (second floor, room 207) is open a book exhibition “Social equality and justice” dedicated to the World Day of Social Justice (February 20).
The exposition totals over 80 materials in Russian and English languages – books, periodicals, mimeographed materials, brochures and booklets published by the UNO, UNESCO, European Union, Council of Europe and other international organizations.
Materials displayed at the exhibition reveals the urgent issues of international and regional cooperation for social development and justice, elimination of poverty, fight against unemployment, protection of human rights and gender equality, education, public health, and economic, social and cultural aid to developing countries.
We invite to the exhibition students, undergraduates, professors, politicians and public figures, specialists in international law, world policy, international relations and human rights.
