From June 25, 2007 to July 31, 2007 in the Interlibrary Loan Reading Room (room164) is open a book exhibition "From the Parade of Hope - to the Parade of Victory!" dedicated to the Republic of Belarus Independence Day. The exhibition presents 52 subject books.


July 3 is a particular date in the history of Belarusian people. On July 3, 1944, the capital of Belarus was liberated from Nazi invaders.

Books about the modern Belarus acquaint reader with achievements of new generations of Belarusian people.

The exhibition presents historical and journalistic materials, and as well fiction by various authors.

The exhibition is destined to arouse an interest of the NLB's users and specialists to our compatriots, those who sacrificed their lives for the Victory.

Adam Shanyavsky and the library fund of the Nesvizh county school (the last quarter of the XVIII century)

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
