December 24 the Observation deck’s gallery is opening the art exhibition “Winter Panorama” dedicated to the New Year’s holidays.

A snow-covered New Year's Eve fairy tale also came to the library's Observation deck. The “Winter Panorama” exhibition puts its guests in a pleasant mood, creates a festive environment, and foretells miracles on Christmas Eve and New Years’ Eve. Every taste is created to in the wintertime presentations of classic landscape, avant-grade palette, icy fairy-tale illusions, and deep conceptual pictures.

Artists and graphic designers express their picture of the winter season – fabulous, full of aspirations, dreams, and wishes – in a variety of artistic methods. The exhibition features artwork by 14 current artists who are also members of the Belarusian Union of Artists, including paintings, watercolours, pastels, and graphics.

The images created by wizards landscape Mikhail Krot, Natalia Kaminskaya, Vyacheslav Pavlovets will help to enjoy the winter. The works of Sergey Pisarenko are replete with fairy tale imagery. The exhibition is decorated with exquisite icy watercolors by Svetlana Ermak and Natalia NavrotskayaTamara Dementieva's, Vera Kovzanovich's, and Maria Dorozhko's paintings are inspired by the expressive graphics of winter. Nika Vitkovskaya's works included festive imaginations, New Year's symbols, a sense of fun, and the prospect of a miracle. Pavel Khodorovich and Andrey Karpenkov give an outstanding depiction of the season, a moist, glittering blend of colours and textures. The avant-garde picture "Evening farmstead" by Vladimir Akulov attracts: it is filled with an atmosphere congruent with the Northern Lights, bright, warm, expressive colours warm up, and provide space to the imagination. Sergey Shilo's conceptual work "Meeting," constructed of canvas and wood, adds to the display.

"Winter Panorama" sparkles with a broad palette of New Year's Eve visuals, resembling a kaleidoscope of wishes, traditions, emotions, feelings, and associations.

Winter nature, Christmas stories, fairy tales, games, hopes, New Year's magic are presented to guests of the library not only on “Winter Panorama” exhibition (22nd floor), but also on the art exhibition "Winter" at the Rakurs Gallery (second floor) and at the book exhibition "Christmas Star" in the ring gallery of the second floor.

The “Winter Panorama” exhibition is on display until January 24th, 2023.
The end date of the exhibition can be changed.

Exhibition’s ticket includes the cost of the Observation deck’s ticket.
The opening hours of the exhibition corresponds to the Observation deck’s opening hours.

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
