Francysk Skaryna, the Belarusian printing pioneer

For pupils of 1–11 grades.

The lesson helps understand the role of Francysk Skaryna in the development of the national culture and it’s an interesting story with interactive elements about preconditions of the Belarusian bookprinting, life and work of the Belarusian first printer. Pupils will have a unique opportunity to look at Skaryna’s books, published in Prague 500 years ago. The National Library of Belarus is the only keeper of authentic enlightener’s books in the country.
