On October 20th, 2009, the XVII session of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Ukrainian mixed commission for trade and economic cooperation was held in National Library of Belarus.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus V.I. Semashko and First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine A.V. Turchinov presided over the session.
The main subject of the session was the problem-solving in the field of increase in bilateral commodity circulation. Issues of creation of co-productions, interactions of the two countries in various branches of the national economy, in the field of construction, public health and science were considered.
The work of the session resulted in signing of the Report of the XVII session of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Ukrainian mixed commission for trade and economic cooperation.
