On June 18 Torch Relay of the 2nd European Games "Flame of Peace" was launched in the National Library of Belarus.
In the main entrance of the main library of Minsk residents and guests saw musical battle "Song about Sport". Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Provalinsky and Dmitry Sergeev, Jeanette, Alexander Sukharev, the "Provokatsya" and “Drozdy” bands and the art group "Belarus", the artists of the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus and the “Strekoza” children's studio of contemporary ballet showed bright and creative performances.
At the end of the concert torch lighting ceremony. Keepers of the flame were greeted by the head of administration of Pervomaisky district of Minsk Igor Kudrevich. The Belarusian biathlete, Olympic champion Nadezhda Scardino became the first to keep the Flame.
Torch relay of the 2nd European Games will continue in Minsk for three day and will be finished on June 21 at the Minsk stadium "Dynamo".
