The lesson based on the tale "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" by Hans Christian Andersen took place on September 26 in the Children's Room.

After reading the tale and watching the cartoon of the same name, the kids learned how many trials the main character had to overcome on the way to his cherished dream.

The young participants played the characters of the tale and show their active physical skills. Each of them received a wonderful dancer made of paper as a gift. The kids crafted a plasticine figure of a soldier made with wooden sticks and acorns during the lesson.

On April 24, 2024, at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings-2024" in Moscow, Olga Polunchenko, chief bibliographer of the Department of reference and Information Services, presented a report "The role of Adam Shanyavsky in organizing the library fund of the Nesvizh County School (the last quarter of the XVIII century)."
