The presentation of books of the edition “The Library of the Union of Writers of Belarus” of the publishing house “Four Quarters” will take place in the gallery “Labyrinth” (3d floor) at 16.00 on August 25.
Guests will get acquainted with four new books of this edition. The first one is the book “Escape to the edge of the rain” of the famous Belarusian writer and poet Aliaksandr Badak.
The edition of Jaǔheni Chvalej “Sierabrystyja tapoli” is dedicated to the 215th anniversary of the Belarusian artist of the XIX century Valentij Vankovič.
The prosaist, translator, publicist, critic Michajil Sliva presents the book of prose “Na Dniaproǔskim luze” with stories, novels, humoresques, miniatures, literary-critic articles.
Fine intimate lyrics, figurativeness and power of observation, deep knowledge of life of the villagers – all this won’t leave the amateurs of the poetry cold, they will also get acquainted with the new Zmitrok Marozaǔ’s book “Mnie Bogam dadziena Radzima”.
The book exhibition-preview is prepared in the framework of the event, where the books of the edition “The Library of the Union of Writers of Belarus” of the fund of the National Library of Belarus are shown.
