On 14 October, a solemn event timed to the Mother’s Day “The Protection of the Virgin – the Hands of the Mother, the Hands of the Motherland” was held at the National Library.
Senior Priest of the All-Saints Parish of Minsk, Archpriest Father Fiodar Povny and head of the Peršamajski District of Minsk Ihar Kudrevič addressed congratulatory speeches to mothers.
Performance of the National Academic People’s Choir named after H.I. Citovič under the direction of Michail Drynieǔski was a musical gift to the guests.
The event was prepared by the Administration of the Peršamajski District of Minsk, the House of Charity and the National Library of Belarus.
