The National Library of Belarus is a laureate of the 52nd National contest “The Art of Book” in special nomination “For contribution to the preservation of spiritual heritage”.
The award ceremony of winners in the contest “The Art of Book – 2013” was held on 6 February at the National Library of Belarus.
Laureates in 14 thematic nominations as well as winners of 1st and 2nd Degree Diplomas received awards. 175 editions from 31 publishers were submitted to the contest.
The National Library of Belarus was awarded for the facsimile editions “The Christmas Pysanka. 1913”, “The ABC-Book of the Slavic Language. 1767”, “The ABC-Book in Life of Our Ancestors”.
Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Tadeush Struzhetsky presented to Director of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky the 1st Degree Diploma.
