On 30 March, the publishers of the Rayhan Quran, Majid Duhtechi Zadeh and Mehdi Abedin, presented a unique edition to the director Roman Motulsky as a gift for the National Library of Belarus.

The Rayhan Quran is an exclusive edition and truly unique in its kind! The book was printed in 2003 by the publishing house "Rayhan Film" (the Islamic Republic of Iran) in a single copy and is considered one of the most beautiful Qurans in the world.

The creation of one book took about a decade! The search for suitable paper and ink for the publication lasted for more than a year. The uniqueness of the book is an unusual system for ink application. To print the Rayhan Quran, nine layers of paint are applied to each of the letters. This unusual technique allows creating millions of amazing shades, making the publication a real masterpiece.

Another important feature of the Rayhan Quran is that the book is printed with rayhan scripts, which have not been used for 900 years. Calligrapher Bahram Saleki was able to reproduce calligraphy in the rayhan style in our time. The cover and the box for storing this book are made of genuine leather and, like the binding, they are made by hand.

The ceremony of donation was held with the support of the closed joint-stock “Golograficheskaya industriya”.
