On February 11, 2009, in National Library of Belarus took place the eighth meeting of Russian-Belarusian Council on a long-term cooperation of regions, ministries, and organs of government of the Republic of Belarus with Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation.
Members of the delegation from Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation headed by governor Georgy Boos, representatives of ministries, organs of government, regions and enterprises of the Republic of Belarus participated in the event.
Participants of the meeting made a Library tour during which Director of National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky acquainted the guests with the NLB’s history and resources.
