On September 18, 2008, National Library of Belarus in common with the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus organized an exhibition presentation “The Best Books of Belarus: Winners of the National Contest “Art of a Book – 2008”.
I.N. Laptyonok, the Deputy Minister of Information of the Republic of Belarus, V.I. Kurash, the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, V.A. Rogalevich, the consultant of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus, R.S. Motulsky, the Director of National Library of Belarus, A.G. Stolyarov, the Director of “Belarus” publishing house, V.A. Ship, the editor-in-chief of “Hudozhestvennaya Literatura” publishing house, N.G. Vanina, the director of “Nachalnaya Shkola” publishing house, and A.A. Shupeltsov, the artist of “Harvest” publishing house participated in the presentation which took place in the framework of the celebration of the Library Day.
At the exhibition were displayed 18 books published by the eminent Belarusian national(“Mastatskaya Litaratura”, “Belarus”, “Narodnaya Asveta”, and others) and private (“Harvest”, “Riftur”, and others) publishing houses.
In October in national Library of Belarus will be organized a book exhibition where will be displayed all the laureates of the contest (over 250 materials).
