On December 16, members of the Book Professors’ Club visited the art and literary exhibition The Quotes Shop.
The children got acquainted with the exposition of posters with portraits and quotations of famous Poles, designed by the artist Darya Meltsazhevich.
The young "Professors" learned that the poster is a message summarized in a clear visual formula. It should be clearly visible from a distance and understandable to the viewer. A quotation is not just a literal excerpt from any text, it also conveys the essence of the work in a short, capacious form that can easily intrigue and captivate. To design a text, you need to think about its location, color and font. The font, or graphic representation of letters, should form one stylistic and compositional system.
The attendees made their own design works with quotations from Belarusian figures, and the creative process fascinated both children and adults.
All materials are provided by the Bibliology Research Department.
