On February 18, 2009, in the NLB’s Round hall Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Sergey Sidorsky presented State Prizes of the Republic of Belarus for professional skill and outstanding achievements to workers of industrial enterprises, cultural and educational institutions and governmental bodies.
The Prime Minister delivered Medals for outstanding achievements to over 40 persons; three laureates received Frantisek Skaryna Medals. Besides that, the President of the Republic of Belarus’ speech of welcome to sportsmen participants of summer Olympic Games in Beijing was delivered.
Cultural workers, artists, professors and sportsmen participated in the event.
