On February 19, 2009, in the framework of an official visit to the Republic of Belarus Prime Minister of Latvia Ivar Godmanis visited National Library of Belarus. In the NLB’s Round hall took place a meeting of Ivar Godmanis with Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko.
The guests made a library tour during which Director of the NLB Roman Motulsky acquainted them with the history and resources of National Library of Belarus.
In the Museum of a Book Ivar Godmanis wrote a memorable entry to the Guests of Honor’s Book.
