On 25 May, at 4 p.m., in the National Library of Belarus there will be held the opening of the literary and art project “The lantern of Belarusian poetry” dedicated to the 130th anniversary from the birth of people’s poet of Belarus Yanka Kupala.
Yanka Kupala is the classic of national literature, prophetic poet and the inspired bard of the motherland.
Within the framework of the literary and art project “The lantern of Belarusian poetry”, the presentation of the facsimile edition of Yanka Kupala’s poetry collection “Along the Path of Life” and the virtual project “Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas. To the 130th anniversary from the birth of the Belarusian bards” will be held, and the anniversary book-illustrative exhibition “The bard of Belarusian soul” will open. Guests of the literary and art project will meet researchers of Kupala’s life and work and admirers of Belarusian poetry.
