On 3 December, the presentation of the book Светлый мир Натальи Бажановой (The Bright World of Natalya Bazhanova) was held at the National Library
The book opens the series Российские ученые-международники (Russian Scientists in International Affairs) which tells the story of the life and work of Russian scientists who contributed to the study of world politics and economy, international relations, international law, civilizations, cultures and ethnic groups.
The publication in two books includes numerous documents and materials on the research, journalistic, pedagogical, social and political activity of Natalya Bazhanova; the complete list of her scientific papers, reviews and opinions on her works, letters to her, memoirs of her colleagues and friends, and condolences. The publication is illustrated with photos including those from the Bazhanovs’ family archive.
Natalya Bazhanova was a doctor of economic sciences, member of several international academies, chief researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian political scientist, historian, journalist, educator and diplomat.
Natalya Bazhanova is the author of over twenty monographs about the urgent issues of various countries and regions. More than 400 articles issued from her pen to be published in scientific and general periodicals of Russia, China, the USA, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Great Britain, Austria, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Syria, Iran, Spain, Yugoslavia, Israel and other countries. Some of her works were awarded international prizes.
During the presentation, the book The Bright World of Natalya Bazhanova was donated to the National Library of Belarus.
The event was organized by the National Library of Belarus and the the Analytical Center EcooM.
