On November 11, 2008, P.L. Ipatov, the governor of Saratov region (the Russian Federation) in the framework of an official visit to the Republic of Belarus visited National Library of Belarus.
Participants of the meeting made a Library tour during which R.S. Motulsky, the Director of National Library of Belarus acquainted the guests with its history and resources. In the Museum of a Book the governor wrote a memorable entry to the Guests of Honor’s Book.
After the visit the governor handed to the Library printed and digital books dedicated to Saratov, its history, social and cultural life, as well as economic and political development of the Russian Federation. The publications are of interest of all categories of readers.
