Analytical bibliographic description: examples and guidelines: a practical guide. - Minsk, 2020 (Series "BiblioConsultant"; issue 9).

This is a practical guide that summarizes the experience of the cataloguing structural divisions of the NLB and includes bibliographic records for both typical and complex cases in a cataloguer's work with various types of documents, including special types of documents that are traditionally considered difficult to the bibliography.

The practical guide uses a system of links to view several examples of bibliographic records of the same content. The examples themselves are presented in both Cyrillic and Latin script languages. Comments are given to the most striking and/or complex cataloguing cases, there are also examples provided with reference annotations.

The appendices deal with atypical and/or more complex examples of bibliographic records expanded by fields and subfields of the BELMARC format.

The publication was created for bibliographers and librarians, workers of the book chambers and trade, for teachers and students of the vocational education system.

The edition can be purchased at the stall located on the 1st floor near the main entrance to the library.
