The National Library of Belarus has already been providing services to its users in the new building for 14 years. During this time, the country's main book depository has acquired the status of a visiting card of the republic, has been included in the top-twenty most fantastic architectural objects of the planet, has become the largest information and socio-cultural centre.
Mr Roman Motulsky, Director General of the National Library of Belarus, Ms Elena Tulupova, Head of the Reference and Information Service Department, and Ms Lyudmila Komarovskaya, Head of the Excursion and Methodological Work Department, talked about the history of the construction of the modern building, how the personnel moved to the new place and the unique opportunities that are now available to the users on ONT.
