The international exhibition "Belarus and the Bible" offers new interesting exhibits: the manuscripts of the Gospel translations by Mikhas Mickiewicz, the younger brother of Belarusian classic writer Yakub Kolas.

Mikhas Mickiewicz, who in 1950 lived in the US, translated the Gospel into Belarusian in the 1960s-70s.

During a visit to the exhibition "Belarus and the Bible", Mary Mickiewicz, the granddaughter of Yakub Kolas, suggested to add new exhibits to the section "Modern Translations of the Bible into Belarusian". A few days after, she presented the handwritten notebook of Mikhas Mickiewicz. Now the manuscripts are on temporary display at the exhibition.
