Institute of history of the National academy of sciences of Belarus held an International scientific conference “Minsk and Minsk residents: ten centenaries of history (to the 955th anniversary of the city)”.
The topics for the discussion during the event were material culture and economy, social and political life, generation of urban environment, and a history of the country through the fames of its citizens. The reports delivered were amounted to 93.
Andrei Baranovski, a leading bibliographer of the Bibliography research department delivered a report “Unknown pages of the history of the National library of Belarus: institution’s employees (1922–1941)”.
